The Rotary Club of Kalisizo was chartered on 3rd September 2002 with 46 members by PDG Dr. Valinder Singh Sur under District D9200 now D9211. This is the first Club in a rural area in Uganda Presently, we are 19 members, 11 men & 8 women. Clubs members’ age ranges between 35 and 75 years.
The number has been decreasing due to some reasons, namely; professional transfers; marital status; job promotions to more demanding offices; failure to pay RI dues; the club being in a rural setting; high cost of living; In our effort to keep to the motto of “SERVICE ABOVE SELF”, I wish to thank and recognize, the Veterans (the persistent charter members of this club). These include; PAG Joseph Matovu, PP. Joseph Mawanda, WCP. Winnie Musisi, PP. Francis X.. Kyaluzi
